{"id":2955,"date":"2026-08-14T15:08:58","date_gmt":"2026-08-14T12:08:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/icfitp.org.ua\/?p=2955"},"modified":"2026-08-19T13:40:36","modified_gmt":"2026-08-19T10:40:36","slug":"connect-with-ukraines-performing-arts-scene-in-kyiv-this-september","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/icfitp.org.ua\/en\/2026\/08\/14\/connect-with-ukraines-performing-arts-scene-in-kyiv-this-september\/","title":{"rendered":"Connect with Ukraine\u2019s Performing Arts Scene in Kyiv This September"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Dear international colleagues, please join <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.creativeeurope.in.ua\/en\/news\/perform_ukraine_2026\"><b>Perform Ukraine 2026<\/b><\/a><b> in Kyiv on 16\u201317 September, followed by the <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/udance.com.ua\/tpost\/x417vu9fs1-u-kiv-vdbudetsya-forum-tantsplan-ukrani\"><b>Tanzplan Ukraine Forum<\/b><\/a><b> on 18 September.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Organised for the fourth consecutive year by Creative Europe Desk Ukraine in collaboration with <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/icfitp.org.ua\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Impulse Transformation Platform<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Perform Ukraine 2026<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> brings together Ukrainian and international performing arts professionals for two days of dialogue, professional exchange and artistic encounters. Previous editions welcomed between 200 and 350 participants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The programme combines immersive and interactive formats, workshops, somatic lounge space, discussions, pitching sessions, one-to-one sessions and networking. Daytime activities will address the future of the performing arts sector, international perspectives, artistic practices, embodiment, artistic meaning and the role of performing arts in society.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The evening programme will present dance, theatre and interdisciplinary performances reflecting on contemporary realities through different artistic forms and languages.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants will be able to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">present their work and artistic practices;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">meet artists, producers, curators and cultural organisations from Ukraine and abroad;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">exchange knowledge and perspectives;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">identify potential collaborators;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">explore opportunities for international projects and long-term partnerships.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The gathering is intended for artists, producers, cultural managers, curators, researchers, educators, and representatives of theatres, festivals, cultural institutions and independent organisations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">International colleagues can extend their professional visit by joining the main consultation day of the <\/span><b>Tanzplan Ukraine 2026 Forum<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on 18 September. The Forum will open a sector-wide dialogue on the future of dance in Ukraine, cultural policy, professional education, international cooperation and support for independent practice. Its wider programme continues until 20 September.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Travel and practical support<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While the organisers are not able to cover international travel or accommodation costs, they can provide confirmed participants with an official invitation letter and practical support in planning their visit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The team has extensive experience welcoming international artists and cultural professionals to Kyiv.
