CALL FOR SOLIDARITY AND SUPPORT
Dear friends, colleagues, and enthusiasts of performance art from around the world. The war, terror, and genocide perpetrated by Russia in Ukraine represent a global challenge that is shaping the shared future of the entire world right now.
We are defending our freedom and national sovereignty, advocating for global peace, and fighting against Russian terror on Ukrainian soil, preventing its spread to the rest of the world. We feel a global wave of solidarity from the international community and structurally rely on your support in this critical situation, for which we are infinitely grateful.
Due to the ongoing Russian military aggression and new challenges, the state provides almost no support to performing arts practitioners in Ukraine, and the situation is extremely difficult. Despite the hostilities and the threat to life, artistic activity has become even more relevant than in peacetime, and the independent sector requires financial support to continue its project activities.
